We would like to build a ramp into the design of our new home. The focus is to use as many standard features to create a universal design home. We have approximately 3500 sq ft of buildable lot to utilize. There is existing slope to build in and have thought of using a T shaped footprint, and linking the second and groundfloor bit a curving/spiral ramp to the basement (groundfloor)
Anyone have any suggestoins on building plans?
Have spoken to City Building inspector, and we do not have to maintain ADA guidelines in a Private Residence.
thanks
