The 50 000EUR inspire!award, by the German Telekom has started its third and final round. Five nominees compete in the category ‘Art-Media-Culture’. The Prize has been awarded twice in the past.
Among a play, lifestyle magazines and an art installation the only architectural project BIX from realities:united stands out, presenting their unique Media Facade at the Kunsthaus Graz, 2003 (by Peter Cook and Collin Fournier).
It rewards the 1000m2 low tech light and media facade, made out of conventional fluorescent lamps which is integrated into the skin of the Kunsthaus tattooing "moving pictures" onto the building. Check the videos to see what urban architecture can do at www.bix.at
What is so special about the award: Everyone can help nominating the winner via online voting from now until approximately December 15th 2004. It is free, without any risks & takes only a few seconds.
Vote-registrations can be done at: www.realities-united.de as the inspire website is in German only.
