Five nominees compete in the category ‘Art-Media-Culture’. The Prize has been awarded twice in the past. Among a play, lifestyle magazines and an art installation the only architectural project BIX from realities:united stands out, presenting their unique Media Facade at the Kunsthaus Graz, 2003 (by Peter Cook and Collin Fournier). It rewards the 1000m2 low tech light and media facade, made out of conventional fluorescent lamps which is integrated into the skin of the Kunsthaus tattooing "moving pictures" onto the building.
