Hi.

I typically photograph tabletop photography but I've taken on a corporate conference room assignment. One of the shots I'm not too sure how to photograph: its a 12' x 19' conference room with a table in it. There will be 9 people seated around the table. They want a shot including most of the room and all the people seated around the table. How do I light this? There isn't enough room on the sides to put lights.

There are florescents all along the top and I'm wondering about just using them and adjusting the digital camera for that - but not sure how lousy that lighting will be......

Will just placing lights at the front and shooting back work? The 19' is the front to back space.....

What focal length would you recommend for a 35mm digital camera?

thanks for any input. Razz

35mm is a film size, isn't it! I assume you mean SLR.

My living room is about 12' x 9' (not big), I expect you would need something approaching 10-15mm to have a chance of getting everything in.

Doesn't the room have any natural light? Maybe you should suggest your client uses a larger room for the photo opportunity.
