After running the update, I cannot find the transformation tools anywhere. They aren't in the loader, and cannot be found in the application folder. What do I do?

Is it only the WT Transformation tools that are missing?

Remember, each update is a full install. The new/updated PCadd folder does not contain the WildTools components. Typically you need to run each update (PCadd/PDwg/WTools).

huc - I can see them when I go to the wildtools preferences. But they aren't in the loader. I trashed the defaults file, relaunched PC, and reset the stationary and they are back. The weird thing is, that there isn't a defaults file anymore. Just the commands, and the .app files.

Jason,

They don't appear as a separate item in Loader window. I think they are always loaded with WildTools.

Have you checked in the Window menu to see if they are available there?

Jason

as Derek pointed out, Transformation tools are not a unique loadable xtnl

however, check your WT preferences. You may want to un-check "WildTools Includes Transformation Tools" so they appear as a unique item in the Windows Menu. You will have to make the WT Pref change, then quit/relaunch PCadd to see the change

huc - That worked. I would have never thought that removing transformation tools from the wild tools preferences would have turned it on! Many, many thanks.

Aloha - jason

Jason,

The option "WildTools Includes: Transformation Tools" doesn't turn them On or Off. It just determines in which Tool Palette they appear.

If you "Include" them they are added to the main WildTools Palette, otherwise they appear in their own palette.
