PowerCADD 7.0.6 free update released March 5th 2008
See http://www.engsw.com for additional information
From EngSW
Apple's latest Operating Systems make the 7.0.6 update Mandatory.
I've also posted related information on my website here, here, and here.
I installed mine earlier today and haven't had any issues in OS X 10.5.2. I have yet to thoroughly test OS X Leopard Spaces feature as described in the updates Read Me file.
I hope that helps

Some admirable work from the people at ES, addressing concerns users have expressed in v. 7. Thoughtful of them to fix issues in the current version, instead of requiring users to update for fixes, especially dashes, fonts, an Leopard problems. _________________ Peter B |

When I install PC7.06 Intl it still tells me it is version 7.05.
I'm wondering if it is the new version. How else can I tell?

David,
If the update went correctly you'll see 7.0.6 in the Finder Get Info window and PowerCADD Profile dialog box.
My international update went fine this time however, once in the past the updater created a new copy of the application along side the old one. Have a look in the PowerCADD folder where the application resides.
From memory there was something funny with the file names and or extensions... Intl or .app or something.
Anyway, I think I just started using the new copy and trashed the old one.

Check the build number. Choose PowerCADD menu > PowerCADD Profile
After a successful update, your build number of PowerCADD will be Application Version: 7.0.6, Build HC05. If it doesn't say that then you should check which version of PCD you're launching and/or run the update again. |

Derek, Huc,
The new version was there but had a different icon and was described as a document. When I double clicked on it, it became an application PC7.06.
Thanks for your help!

| Two of my 7.04 tell me there is no update... how can I get these updates ? I wish I could download them from ES site, but impossible (although the international version has a dongle) |
